Cook is is a significantly more vital wicket when England are playing away. At home he's just another wicket.Considering how badly we need to get Cook it was a fair punt. Got a spare might as well use it.
Hit slightly above the knee roll. Can definitely understand why it wasn't given.Yeah, maybe. Agree it should've been given in the first place. Beat the inside edge. Not a big stride. Hit on the knee role. Not much bounce in the pitch. Disappointing for Boult.
I'm tempted to agree, however, the good thing about DRS is that it never incorrectly overturns an LBW. It probably doesn't overturn as much as it could, that one being the prime example, but that wouldn't have been out without it anyway.I know I'm biased, and I accept that it wasn't plumb or anything, but still that should've been given.
Yeah, it reminds me of the technical problems Cook had when he was younger (well he still has them, just not the same extent.) He was happy getting across, and defending those under his eyes, but the worry about the LBW means he stays inside the line and pushes at balls on a 4th stump line as a result.Seriously that's high quality bowling. Just a tiny bit of seam movement away having gotten Cook worried about the LBW for several overs. Great stuff.
Yeah, fully agree. I have no problem with the DRS sticking with the umpires original decision.I'm tempted to agree, however, the good thing about DRS is that it never incorrectly overturns an LBW. Short extra cover to get his hands warm.Ian Bell will ton up here.
