Everything aside, Vijay's scored 420 runs despite I considering him mediocre and most others rating him terrible before the series began.

Fair play, I guess.
Yeah he's had a good series. Needs to work on his play of the short ball but he was supreme in Hyderabad, did not give a chance.

Haha, did Wade just tell Rahane that he better hope that he isnt picked for a game in Australia? A sledge for a series that's two years away? Nice.
"I hope you do really well and establish yourself in the side so that you're picked for the series in Australia several years from now. Then I'll show you!"

Expected the usual update of Siddle's phenomenal rise in the highest wickettaker rankings.

Dissapointed tstl. :(
Its Saturday night mate, I have a life...

Siddle moves to 92nd all time ahead of Gupte. Next man to pass, Ravi Shastri!

Couple more wickets here and this game is wide, wide open. Be good to have a contest for once this series.

Haha yep. He has had a good series and above my expectations even for a Home series against Australia. Though still not convinced how long he will last.

Rampaul got him five out of six innings, and only one of them was LBW, most of the time he was undone by the short ball.
As i said before, he was out edging most of the times. To the Slips or to the keeper.

Might have been a few short balls too, but the pitches for that series with the new ball weren't very quick. Though there was inconsistent, bounce and pace i guess.

It's been a great passage of play, hasn't it. But Aus need those wickets pdq or the game will run away from them again, you'd think.

EDIT
And here we go ...
Maybe softened up by Siddle and took his eye off the ball against Lyon?

**** this.

If Dhoni decides that one test is enough to decide that Rahane isn't test quality and shelves him after 2 years of drinks duties, I'm going to rage so hard.
