Because, as I was trying to tell you and flogcity the other day, it's a new ball and he has just picked up a wicket. That's why Hughes should have batted 3 last innings because even if it's a small chance, it's still a chance he can face some overs of pace before spin.

Yeah I've no doubt he will be brought on sooner rather than later, but at least Hughes has scored some runs now, opposed to none.
