When you're losing at home to this Villa team you know it's just about all over.Looking so bad for Reading right now.
The other teams have a pretty reasonable run-in too though. Unless Sunderland or Southampton totally implode they'll need both Villa and Wigan to end the season badly. Playing them both in the next two weeks helps but it still doesn't feel especially likely. You'd think at least one of them will string a few results together. It is not a bad run-in at all though is it? Got a real chance and they bloody well should with the money that they have spent. Going to be really close between them Wigan, Villa and maybe Southampton and even Sunderland. Reading down without doubt.
We can only cross our fingers that Sunderland implode. The other teams have a pretty reasonable run-in too though. Villa v QPR next week will set the pattern. Lose that and it is all over for QPR, win and the whole thing becomes open. The other teams have a pretty reasonable run-in too though. I'd be really surprised if they went down. Decent run-in, five point head start and from what I've seen they're comfortably the best team in the bottom five.Yeah, the wisdom of Southampton's decision to give Adkins the boot is really balancing on a knife edge now. Looked initially as, though unfair, it would work out because of the decent performances. Lack of results is making things look really dodgy.
