Boult and Martin both too loose after lunch. Annoying because just one more wicket sees us into a long tail.

Get Williamson to chuck a few down before Southee?

Trott must be standing there thinking 'WTF are these guys doing?'

Should commisserate with Ross Taylor and Michael Clarke

How have Southee and Boult bowled in general (I only have radio and cricinfo)? Reason I ask is that if they're at least somewhat consistent and threatening then batsmen often go for pressure release against another less accurate bowler i.e. Wagner. And that can go badly i.e. Cook and Bell's dismissals off Wagner.

Southee and Boult do bowl well together, but take one away as against South Africa and we lose that pressure buildup.
All the bowlers have been pretty mixed tbh. I think England have just played loosely and NZ have had a bit of luck.

Edit: Another unforced error/gifted wicket from England. They really are a generous bunch of fellas.

OK, Boult has been beating Trott bowling over the wicket, so what does he do? He decides to bowl round the wicket.

Can someone explain that one to me?
