Great knock from Wade, he's looked superb the past hour or so. But he needs to turn this into a big score if Australia are to tie up this series.

That was such a great shot from Clarke

Top knock from Wade

He may not be a top keeper but he can bat

Wade has a tendency to look horrid early doors before getting set.
Yep. Said so before his debut and used it as a major reason for preferring Nevill; Wade's far more likely to hit a ton but Nevill's got a tighter technique and is more likely to prevent a collapse and build a partnership consistently when he comes in. I think the latter is a lot more important at #7, although Wade's batting 6 now so...

So how much should Australia be looking at? 370? not sure the Aus attack is gonna be good enough to keep India under that score tbh, unless Siddle has an inspired spell it could be a case of Pattinson being a lone ranger again.

It's weird that you talk up the West Indian team so much and talk down the Australian side so much despite the fact Australia beat WI 2-0 in the West Indies. Perhaps the answer lies somewhere between hey.

Awesome session for the Aussies. 360+ is on the cards here but, just as easily, they could be dismissed for 280 if they lose a quick wicket or two after tea.

It'll be interesting to see how Henriques bowls on this pitch. With the far greater movement and pace on offer, and the way the ball is reversing, he should be a bigger threat than he was in Chennai. I thought he actually bowled very solidly on debut.

I'm giving my opinion about this game, which is what this thread is about, my team has nothing to do with this so please lets stay on topic, look at that Australia attack, are you confident it can take 20 wickets here? personally i think it looks poor, Wade has done better than i expected and Clark has been class again, but imo you'll need 400 to have a chance here, it's nothing personal i'm just telling it how i see it  .

I swear I read on here somewhere that someone/some people were saying that Clarke isn't that good away from home so he loses points for that. Spikey to dig.
