I think it's really unlikely India will bring in another #6 batsman after Dhoni just hit a double hundred at 6. The fact that Ashwin, Harbhajan and Kumar are at 8-10 and can all bat helps the team balance too; I don't think they'll be changing it. If there's a change I think it'll be Ojha in for Kumar; rest will stay the same.

Clarke got a great ovation for his 100, tbh.. Could just be a case of the crowd just waiting to celebrate the last wicket and going home happy and hence not caring about the batting at that point.


But tbf, since the IPL, the crowds in India are getting less sportive everywhere..

Come on HB. You should know the Chennai crowds better than everyone else. They are amongst the most sporting in the world and easily the most knowledgeable in this country

If the last series taught us anything it's that the home side don't really get to prepare pitches at all in India. They sort of get what they're given

He was issued a show cause notice after he was deemed mentally unfit to play because he head butted and chest butted a batsman. Wasn't allowed to play the next game in the interim iirc.

I've found the same when travelling there, the people in the south are considerably friendlier.
