I'd probably have averaged sub 30 bowling nippy seam ups at Hobart throughout the games Adam Maher has played there. There's a reason Tasmania don't bother picking him for away games, drop him for Rainbird and Gulbis etc, he's not even really a Sheffield Shield standard cricketer and his average doesn't change that.

I think it's got to the point where they get the slightest niggle and they take no chances do they're out shorter term rather than busting completely.

Interesting he's going home for the scan rather than being a BCCMRI on tour.

A little bit about Moz for those ****s from overseas who don't know about him - as a junior he was the best underage cricketer in the world, and by a fair margin for mine. He used into absolutely ****ing dominate. He used to bowl heat, then he had a back injury and came back bowling not as fast. He was the definition of a genuine all rounder, absolute gun as a bat and a gun as a bowler. Now of course not all great underage cricketers go on to be good senior cricketers but this guy was something else, and IMO up until this season he was the biggest disappointment in Australian cricket in my life time.

In my first game against the **** and he took 7/20 after making an unbeaten hundred in the first innings.

Agreed that he has been a huge let-down until this season

Most disappointing thing is that unlike Marsh, he has always had a really solid technique (reminds me of Martin Love for some reason) but has specialised in pretty 20s

Should really have been scoring big runs for some time now so hopefully this is the making of him

i should have clarified, when i said pace bowling I meant quick bowling. you know, 140km/h +. of which that tassie attack did not feature

I actually reckon Henriques has a better setup to deal with that than he does the moving ball at medium pace. He always has a lot of time to play his shots and his footwork is very precise. Always someone I associated with hard hands though, hence my surprise and his ability to play spin so well here.

He's played so late, that's what has surprised me most. What you say about the medium pace stuff is right, so I expected him to struggle against prodigious turn. But he's played two gems.

Notwisthstanding your statistical analysis, because let's face it, everyone knows stats are the only legitimate measure...

I'd also throw in the Pakistan trio of Junaid, Irfan, Gul/whatever new guy they unearth.

Windies with Rampaul, Roach and Best maybe a shout as well(In tests).
