Well batted Taylor

I don't remotely know what to make of this score. I'd above par I guess but it's hard to believe it's by much.
No way, England have done well here. Napier is generally a 290-300 par at international level.

Yes it's hard to know what par is here when it looked like McCullum was batting on a different pitch to the rest of our batsmen. Will England bat on that or the other one?

Suspect we're just a little short so a lot depends on whether our new ball bowlers can apply as much pressure as England's did.

Hasn't it generally been pretty hard to score though, apart from one mental partnership? That would suggest that one stand should make the difference.

How did they stop the runs in the first 25?

Well played Taylor

Well bowled Jimmy, could have been an awful lot worse at the end there.

Broad continues to be a worry.

I'm as worried about Swann as I am about Broad, he's been completely ineffective so far this series, and he's got poor figures despite not bowling when McCullum came in.

Think the first 25 overs will really hurt us here. If they'd batted better and got to 110 by 25 overs, they'd be in great shape. As it is now, I really can't see them defending this, barring an England top order collapse.

Also, not smart from Boult trying to slog a six down the ground. With one wicket in the bank, the objective should've been to pick up singles until the last couple of balls. Ah well.
