You basing that on a good pre-season, or just the fact that generally gun mids start to step up after the amount of years he has been in the system for (see Pendlebury, Murphy, Cotchin etc. all stepping up at similar times in their career)?

Bit of everything, he has been the standout in preseason, by all accounts absolutely raped in the intra club yesterday. Most of his preseasons before this have been injury interrupted so he hasn't been able to build up his stamina. Also was massively improved when he returned to the side in the second half of last season anyway.

Harper is another to look out for, been playing a lot with the midfield, has always been all class when he gets the ball just only been getting it 8 times a game or something.

So does DT have a draft this year or is it just SC? So it means no salary cap for the draft version?

That is eerily similar to Cotchin, who stepped it up in 2011 after having his first full pre-season without injury, and then turned elite in 2012 with two pre-seasons behind him.
