Tedious.Yeah, but this is a special case.
This is basically me being a **** and not wanting to give England any help in developing a player who used to be ours.
Ask Baldy Shawn if he was the guy who got kicked out.Tedious.
Unfortunately, I was out of town for work today so haven't even seen a ball yet. Was offered a free ticket to the game too, **** it. Well done anyway, Otago. Go us.
So that's why he moved...He's a gun for Otago in whites but he's awful in the colours.
Cricket: Andy McKay's Return To Firebirds On Hold | Stuff.co.nzEleven players are unavailable for Canterbury's sixth-round Plunket Shield clash with Central Districts in Napier starting on Thursday - eight of them frontline bowlers.
Willie Lonsdale (glandular fever), Ed Nuttall (back complaint and possible stress fracture), Logan van Beek (still monitoring a long-term injury that stops him bowling long spells), Gareth Andrew (contract finished and returned to Britain), Ben McCord (groin) and Will Williams (heel) are all unavailable.
McCord is due back "soon" but Lonsdale and Nuttall could both be out for the season.
Matt Henry and Hamish Bennett are improving and both played club cricket at the weekend, but Stead said mid-February was still the aim for their return.
While the bowling stocks were ravaged by injury, there was no temptation to rush back Bennett or Henry, Stead said.
"We have to look at the long term and it's definitely not worth risking them."
Both are finding form in club cricket, though aren't bowling enough overs to be able to withstand the rigours of four-day cricket.
Bennett took 4-13 from eight overs for Riccarton on Saturday against Henry's Marist-Harewood side, while Henry replied with 2-10 from nine overs.
Vincent heading to Bangladesh

Lou Vincent heads off to Bangladesh for the next month
Aces batsman Lou Vincent has been given leave from his Aces playing contract to play in the Bangladesh Premier League.
Vincent will leave New Zealand immediately to take part in the competition that is already under way but will return for the Aces Ford Trophy one day campaign that gets under way in late-February.
Auckland Cricket CEO Mark Cameron said that it was a practical decision given the Aces upcoming schedule.
“We’ve got a solid diet of four day Plunket Shield cricket coming up for the next month and realistically we now regard Lou as a short form player so it makes little sense to potentially have him sitting on the sideline when he could be getting quality match practice elsewhere.”
Vincent will team up with the Khulna Royal Bengals squad in the BPL for the duration of the competition which runs until the 19 February.
Just looked at Auckland A averages for this years tournament. McIntosh of course played the whole tournament, so M Barry the only other contender? Looks like had a solid but unspectacular tournament. Averaged 30 but scored pretty much half as many as Timmy Mac.Staff List - Auckland Cricket

Cornwall opener Michael Guptill-Bunce is the one new face for the Aces as they head back into four day cricket this Thursday against the Northern Knights.
Guptill-Bunce gets his chance on the back of some excellent club form and a hundred for Auckland A last week. He will join recalled opener Tim McIntosh at the top of the order for the Aces.

Does anyone know the scores of Day 1 of the Auckland A v ND A game at Colin Maiden Park?
January 15 at 10:18pm
Yep, it's terrible. Canterbury, Central and Wellington, all three with joke attacks this round.FFS. The CD bowling has been obliterated as well. I'm starting to doubt if some games in this next round should even be accorded FC status
