I don't think there's any power in the third umpire's box.Surely they could have taken that to the 3rd umpire given that we could be shown the replay?

Yeah, I'm on it. They bat really deep, in theory at least. Neesham is a batting allrounder. I don't think they'll win tbh but anything over 4.00 is definitely overs IMO.Can NZ win this? Is 4.3 value?
Ah right, sorry. Bit of a brainfart there.I don't think there's any power in the third umpire's box.
Laughing if you actually made the bet nowYeah, I'm on it. They bat really deep, in theory at least. Neesham is a batting allrounder. I don't think they'll win tbh but anything over 4.00 is definitely overs IMO.
I made the bet before Jono had even posted tbh.Laughing if you actually made the bet now
Kiwis should win, just have to bat carefully. Still have batsmen in the sheds. Good wakeup call for SA who have been unconvincing in this format for some time though Kirsten said he will rotate bowlers because of Pakistan series coming up so they probably will not put best side in the field during this series. Smith and Ingram need to go though.
Ah, still a fail though.I made the bet before Jono had even posted tbh.
It's the irony that I'm laughing at.Mr PRez, betting on value is not a fail. And taking pleasure in someone losing a bet is pretty low too.
Think their top order would have really struggled batting first. Williamson looked average against the shortish deliveries. Kiwis have always been competitive in ODIs and did well with the ball but have disappointed with the bat considering the lowish total they're chasing.Briony you're talking rubbish.
NZ are so uncompetitive, its ****ing awful to watch.
Depends who's making said bet, surely?Mr PRez, betting on value is not a fail. And taking pleasure in someone losing a bet is pretty low too.
Tbf, an ODI average of 35 is hardly "not international class." I still back Ingram.Well kiwis have batting depth but they have been disappointing given that they had a great opportunity to bat carefully and get there. Ingram and Smith should go from this format with the latter focusing on tests and the former is not international class yet Miller showed promise. McLaren has been handy for SA.
But Ingram doesn't have anything dynamic about him. Doesn't look classy. Miller looks talented and explosive.Tbf, an ODI average of 35 is hardly "not international class." I still back Ingram.
Would be happy for Smith to go if there was someone good enough to replace him. Can't really think of anyone who is up for it though.
Agree with you that Miller should be getting a gig.
