Happened b4 day five though.

I just don't know if it's worth playing Lyon in a lot of conditions in Australia provided Clarke can bowl. Would prefer me some Moises or four genuine quicks in most Australian grounds.

Lyon is off to India soon, 4 tests as well. Can't wait to see him take 20 wickets and bowl Australia to a series win then.

clarke just aint going to bowl much. they need to hustle if we don't play a spinner or clarke will be banned every other match

There's heaps to like about Lyon I reckon. I'd keep playing him. While Watson's in the team and can bowl, an attack of 3 quicks plus Watson and Lyon is good.

But I'd always advocate for a spinner...

He'll get it done. Could bowl underarm to India ATM.

Swann comfortably out bowled by Panesar when it mattered. He's a myth.

I've got no problem with Lyon at all ftr. I reckon he's as good as an orthodox finger spinner can be. But it's the nature of the conditions Australia play their cricket in. Not that suited to finger spin bowling.

Would defs always be in my overseas squads.

Thought he'd be the new Benaud a few years back. Only cricket thing I've ever been SERIOUSLY wrong about.

Yeah I thought he had some serious talent a few years back, loved the drop he sometimes got on the ball. But **** me he can't land two balls in one spot.
