Yeah, noone plays spin well so Ajmal, Swann, Ojha etc are all just opportunists.

instead of Pakistan, England, Australia, South Africa and NZ, he should have been playing WI and Bangladesh to really prove his worth.

Bloke has done well this year. 50+ wickets at an average below 23. Hardly got most of those from the "long handle". Credit where its due.

In fairness I saw one or two head injuries from stray beach ball punches at the Gabba some years ago.


Mind you I also recall an Andy Bichel six breaking the nose of an old lady in the crowd at a one day game too, so perhaps should just ban all spectators like domestic cricket does now.
