At this rate, both Smith and Amla will score centuries in a session.

This would be quite something. Smith went into Tea at 2* fwiw.

Wow SA can be ruthless on their day. Sensational stuff. Amla showing how to play at the WACA.

The comms having to shill for Toyota and/or VB really ****s me.

Especially when it's Nicholas extolling the virtues of Victoria Bitter. As if he's not a claret drinker.

Something chilled and fizzy I'd have thought (not Fosters!). It's quite funny the first time you hear it though.

Johnson with a smile and a laugh with Smith after that over.

Nothing says nasty fast bowler out to win a game for his country like cracking a joke with the opposing team's captain while he's smashing your bowling around.

At what lead here, gambhiring aside, are we actually down and out of the match?
I would say, SA would declare only at a 500 lead, unless there is a collapse..But anything above 400 would be tough for the Aussies since most of the batsmen barring Clarke and Hussey are not in great form..

Wow. Astonishing stuff. I can't recall a big test where a partnership has taken the game away so quickly and that too on day 2. It's really hard to see Australia coming back from this. Ponting will have a possibility of a fairy-tale finish if he can take Australia to what would be a legendary chase. I guess a Clarke double hundred would come in handy too.
