Williamson should have gone in at 3 IMO...
"only four fielders outside the inner circle during non-Powerplay overs, instead of the earlier five. "

New rule may suit Williamson if batting at #5, can't clear the boundary like Taylor, but good placement, now more chance of 2s and 3s during overs 25 - 45.

Watling actually looks better than Nicol imo, but he just keeps hitting the ball crisply to fielders, which is basically how he bats.

Not surprised that Watling looks better than Nicol - almost anyone does. Nicol doing a reasonable job here though

Not terrible from Nicol, though he still only has one fifty vs proper teams.

I guess the plan is to put 230-240 on the board and then hope our seamers get as much movement as SL's and try to knock over their top order.
