Worral looks pacy. Any idea of his speed? I assume they had the guns on him in the FRC match he played in.

Well I don't know too many people who head to a private golf club in the Gold Coast hinterland to pick up chix, but whatever floats your boat mate.

Back from the G, good viewing. Taped the steam while i was away, will upload the 162* later tonight. Paine's flukey catch is worth an upload too.

When his rhythm is good, he can get it through pretty well. Bowled a quick spell of short stuff at a few of our blokes last year.

Was playing 3rd grade grand final against us only two years ago. Rapid rise.

Yeah but the last time he took more than 1-fa in a FC innings was about this time last year and he went for a run-a-ball, conceding half the team's runs in taking 5 against SA, one of the losingest FC teams in the world right now. Talent aside, it's not exactly a ringing endorsement. Makes me wonder why he didn't play in the winter, though.

He started well yesterday, but.
I think that also says how poorly used he is by Queensland in general. Averages only 10 overs an innings. 1 wicket very 10-12 overs is not too bad on Australian Shield pitches. He has a better strike rate then Lyon, Holland or Haurtiz.

Perhaps he has a better strike rate because he's just used in short attacking bursts, as opposed to the role Hauritz and Lyon have to play. I remember Marcus North having a really good statistical season as a spinner a few years ago when he had a similar role too.

Yeah, not buying it. If he was that good, he'd be bowling more. QLD is one of the few states which, historically, has always given even mediocre spinners a decent go.
