Southee? Even if no one can reverse it it's still useful because it makes the ball soft and hard to hit.

I'm not saying he's better than McCullum, FTR, far from it. I just think that the media and fans seem to have gone on a bit of a witch hunt for Kies. There are a lot of people in the England side who haven't done much to be there (what's Bairstow done in limited overs cricket for England?) but everyone loves a bandwagon don't they...

Bandwagon or not, his performance in this game has been atrocious. His keeping was terrible and his batting was worse.

Nicol has had a couple years as one of our best domestic T20 bowlers. England can't let him settle here.

That said Luke Wright probably faced him a bit.

I just can't help feeling that the whole media bandwagon is making it harder for him though. How can you play the "fearless cricket" that England always speak about when you know that the media are just waiting to lynch you should you get out?

Obviously this was a pretty dreadful performance, but he was getting plenty of stick before today.

NcCullum 4 overs 1/22 not bad. The funny thing with his bowling is some of his variations just come out rank but batsmen fail to score from them.
