Doubt Kallis will play many more one day games, need to keep him fresh for test cricket and it gives them a chance to find a long term replacement ahead of the next world cup. A guy of his age in his role can't play every game. Might harm them for now in the one day matches but will help the test side you would think.

The way they are playing is a bit after the lord mayors show, fair enough I suppose as they have the main objective of the tour of winning the test series, a few of the players out there look like they aren't really with it at the moment.

TBF to Trott he was obviously discomforted by the bang on the hand he took. It was looking as if he could barely hold the bat in his right hand as he went on.

Jeez, that's filthy from Sotters. His spell at Essex sadly looks indicative of his effectiveness in Blighty.

Will they persevere with Bopara? Woakes could hardly do worse you'd think, and certainly hasn't been given a fair go so far.

Or Bairstow, if you don't mind losing the 6th bowler.

Trott looked injured, so they may have to make one change anyway. In the end Bopara has generally bowled really well in these last two matches, that'll keep him in.

Yes, and winning teams tend to make fewer changes.

The run rate should improve with Morgan in. Only 16 had come off the five overs before that one.
