Urgh. Tredwell. It's bad enough he looks like he should be in a special needs class without actually ctaching like he belongs there too.

Dropping Amla's worked well for us this tour.
Get someone who can actually catch at slip, please...

The inswinger has done for Amla in the last two games. Is that a weakness or did he just get bored of smashing us about?

England being potentially better at ODIs than Tests is a concept that simply does not make sense to me.

Bopara, Bell & Finn have come in and turned England into a wonderful ODI side.
We are a long way from being a wonderful side. Good yes, be a test of their one day credentials in India. Fancy us at home versus anyone, need to win some away games. Same for tests too (though SA were just way too good for us this summer in tests)

Serious point, how good is Kirsten as coach?

Took India to number 1 and won a world cup and in just over a year has SA as number 1 or 2 in all formats. Impressive record. Also see how India have struggled as soon as he left.

Loving Ravinder's handshake celebs; wonderfully old school.

Mind you, it's come to something when celebrating a wicket with a firm, manly, decorous handshake is noteworthy in itself.

Must say, shorn of Swann & Pietersen this is a very likeable England team. Only really the Dernbach chav quotient letting the side down.

In all fairness to Kies that was nicely done. Shows he can do it so shouldn't have any worries about coming up to the stumps.

Parnell before McLaren, eh? Interesting.

Really a bit better than he looks*, Tredders. Did Parnell with his dip there. Another quality stumping from CK too.

*Catching excepted; that is as bad as it looks.

EDIT: Christ alive, that's huge turn too.

Oh, c'mon both stumpings have been regulation, and now he ****s up a simple run out, blokes a ****ing liability.

Have often said Tredders is a solid performer, just doesn't look a cricketer.

I doubt 225 will be enough on this track...

Good little cameo this by Robbie P. Why was Parnell sent ahead of Robbie P & McLaren?

Good to see you behind your Somerset boy.

Was really more a comment on him not standing up to Ravi earlier, tbf.

Jeez, that's a cannon throw from Dernbach.

What's a first ball one called, then?
