You know the Aussie's had the perfect field against Sehwag - point, backward point, cover. And he was toothless against it. Why can't our video analyst actually earn his keep.

From 126km to 131km? What's the point?
I'd rather he worked on his line, length, consistency and ability to swing the ball.
those things should improve as well if he improves his action a bit

Would rather he worked on his batting myself - otherwise he's not in the side.

Everything would improve if he upped that pace. It's not about bending his back more, just having a bowling action which is vaguely technically correct. Atm the ball comes out of his hand incongruously slowly given his run-up, height, general athleticism etc.

Franklin bowled 3 balls over 130kph in that over

btw, the speeds on cricinfo and the TV are totally different, where do the speeds on cricinfo come from?

Stacking the backward point/gully region is a field more tailored towards bouncy pitches vs Sehwag tbf.

Random number generator. See below:

3.4 Southee to Gambhir, OUT, 99.3 kph, there is no doubt about this one, and Gautam Gambhir's poor run in Tests continues, he was probably set up by those deliveries leaving him with the angle outside off, this one was much straighter, Gautam shouldered arms again, to his horror, it clipped the off bail, which took some time to come off, but it did

G Gambhir b Southee 2 (12b 0x4 0x6) SR: 16.66

Really need to break this partnership. Can easily see it getting big on us. Boult and Southee need to bowl a lot of overs today. Both are looking top notch opening test bowlers. Hopefully the cloud cover will hang around.
