Boult really has snuck under the "young talented bowler" hype radar, hasn't he? Pace, accuracy, movement, bounce.
He did get a bit of hype after he featured in the same U19 WC as Southee a few years ago - remember he then went to Aus on an ODI tour but didn't play. But yeah, that faded away and then he just went and did the business in domestics.

Contrast a bit to Southee - Boult looks like he knows what his skills are and what sort of bowler he is. No doubt partly a result of their different paths into NZ side.

Good! The last thing he needs is people hyping him up.

He probably has avoided the hype by never taking a large wicket haul in a Test innings.
Yeah, I agree completely. It's allowed his bowling to mature. Can't be long before he runs through a side, bloody unlucky spell this

Boult does have a tendency to bowl a few leg side half volleys when he pushes a bit too hard though - a definite trend there.

Should survive the next 10 overs before beginning to look for boundaries. Tire them out and then go for it after tea.
