In your defence, you do pretty much need to learn to use your feet to play spin if you want to be successful in India, especially on turning wickets. There should be a 'I suck at playing spin' exception to that rule though...but in that case, you're going to be fodder anyway.
While this is true, just playing forward from the crease is a much better bet for all our guys except maybe Williamson. This works best if you're a taller guy like Fleming or Franklin.

Ohja was definitely the one to attack if you did want to use your feet, but he saw Bracewell coming a mile off there.

Don't know why India are bothering with pace at the moment tbh.

To improve foot marks?

NZ's batsmen are the exception that proves the rule.

If the next pitch is the same as this, I reckon it's time to drop Martin - probably for Nethula though could also make an argument for either Wagner or Southee.

Why is Franklin given a go if they need an all rounder who doesn't bowl much? Isn't Oram a better option than him?

Just playing forward from the crease is a surefire way to get out LBW.

This is basically an unfair game on pitch custom made for Indian Spinners. Spin and Bounce. Ashwin is unplayable, Ojha got lucky with 2-wickets. It will be an innings defeat for New Zealand. ICC should disqualify such a pitch. It is unfit for Test Match

Conditions a bit cloudy atm and the lights are on. Maybe thats why a swing bowler is bowling at one end.
