Only managed to watch five or six overs this morning (when Boult got Tendulkar out), but thought Patel looked like he was bowling a little bit too quickly. That's my main memory of his bowling at international level - too quick and not enough flight - has he slowed down a bit and is looking more likely as a result?
Mostly still pretty flat though flighting the odd one including the one that drew trhe edge

International Regular
On another note - is it just me, or has there been a proliferation of dropped catches in the last year or so of international cricket? And it’s not difficult chances going down either. Just makes it so much harder when you have to take 13 wickets every innings instead of 10.
I repeat. Though it sounds like it wasn't technically a drop, more a missed chance.

This is just giving up free runs at the moment. This whole passage of play is starting to make me really dislike Taylor as a captain.

Not Terrible
Seems like the bowlers have been told to bowl a fast over. If that is the case it annoys the **** out of me. Cop the fine kents. Go for the jugular and take your time.
