So ... 257 ahead, Duminy and Philander to come. Smith probably won't declare - why should he? Are we just going to chase regardless, even if it's 350 at five an over? Death or glory stuff? A 1-0 loss isn't much use, after all.
Don't think its going to be an issue following that dismissal.

As for mots, i'd suggest it depends on how the next innings goes.

England catching record for Strauss, nice way to mark his 100th match.

Still expecting us to have to make 300+ though.

That lbw review was very similar in height to the one that bowled Amla. Both hitting the top of the stumps. Amla didn't get to review it did he?

Are the ball-tracking technology manufacturers not confident enough of the accuracy of their technology?

Crikey - Finn gets another. ADB gone now!
They are the icc just uses a ball sized error measurement for no good reason...

Finn has so much upside potential I will play him continuously ever if he averages 30 over the next two years

Run through these ****s and then the batsmen can maybe remind us why we got to number one in the first place?? This could be a cracking finish to the series.

This, as much as I love Bresnan he isn't a 200+ wicket test bowler and he looks out of form anyway. Finn has to play all the time now, could be a 200+ bowler easily and will probably level off at an average just under 30 which is good in its own right.

Ashton Turner has so much upside potential that I think he should play every Test for Australia from now until the day he dies even if he's averaging over 70 with the ball. He'll come good; just you wait.

Let off for Finn.

Amazing that he hits the furtherest stump with his leg.
Closest stump to him, I think you mean?

I don't think it distracts the batsman itbt, Smith smacked a couple of 4's in the other game, and they took an easy two off of that ball.

Nah, stupid argument.

Finn is already a Test standard bowler. If the English camp believes that by playing him over the next six months, even though Bresnan (or Tremlett, whoever) may be slightly ahead right now in the pecking order, can turn him into a sub-25 bowler - and end up overtaking these other guys - sooner than otherwise, then it's worth the investment.

What are you giving up, and what could you gain?
