Most bookies have that rule for dead-heats, not sure about yours though, so don't take it as gospel.
Yep, you were right. The stakes were halved, so I ended up making a small loss on Duminy but a profit on Philander.

Some blokes are tinny. It's a good gift to have.

Like tests where the first innings is around 300-350. Sets the game up nicely.
Well Botham got wickets with **** balls, Finn seems to have that ability.

Our best chance of a win is to get 500 from here and hope the Saffers collapse 2nd time round due to the pressure of the match situation. Be long odds on that happening though despite the fact the pitch looks flat.

? wasn't duminy paying $12 you still would be up on that bet
He was, I had a dollar on him at that stage and later on when he passed Rudolphs score I put another $30 on him at 1.2-3ish. That's where I lose out (albeit a negligible amount).

Just remember guys, when de Villiers flashes at a wide one and edges behind, it's great bowling from Jimmeh. If an Englishman does the same thing, it's "pissing your wicket away".

So you thought Jimmy bowled poorly then?

Practically every English poster has said that Saffies threw their wickets away.

Burgey talks **** about england/English posters.

No, just be consistent ffs.

I didn't say he bowled poorly.

People were on here saying it was good bowling that got de Villiers. He chased a wide ball. Whenever a Pommie has done the same thing it's somehow inexplicable they could throw their wicket away at such a pile of excrement.

Albeit an identical pile to the ball the Saffer got out to. This has been a recurring theme through the series tbf.

Tbf to him, Jimmy could have had about 15 wickets in that last innings, was genuinely superb.

Although have gotten into a habit of saying that, or something similar. Can't be a coincidence that he forces dozens of play and misses but can't seem to bag a load of wickets, hard to put your finger on why when he isn't bowling too short or getting too much swing.

Who said that? Quote people and slag them off if so, you'd be right. This generic slagging off is tiresome.

You ignored my point that most of us have said Saffies played poor shots to get in the situation. Which is consistency.
