I was going to go for Faulkner as well, but decided on Kapil instead, had a feeling Faulkner would be popular this round. I initially wanted Benaud this round, be he went even earlier than I thought he would. Happy to have Kapil and Miller as quality all-rounders with both bat and ball, which means I can be a bit creative with later picks.

Yes, having 3 pace bowlers is desirable at this point in the draft. Judging by the sheer numbers of bowlers relegated to the sin bin I would say that formulating a viable pace attack will be difficult from now on.

I predict a rush for fast bowlers in the next two Rounds, followed by something new in CW Drafting - 'Smart' bowling attacks made up spinners and swing bowlers, rather than the usual brute force.
