I would have happily bet a tenner that McGrath would be blacklisted that round, but apparently not!

At this rate, the draft will be over in a week, it's flying along. 3/12.
Not so hasty. In the first 2 Rounds you expect there to be were plenty of stella-ATGs to go around, so less clashes. However, as the number of stella-ATGs dwindle we can expect more people to choose the same few remaining players.

Rounds 3 and 4 are the obvious Rounds for bottle-necks. Unless people go 'left-field' earlier than normal.

I'm basically not worring about clashes at all...
Unsure if the best policy is to go for the absolute cream and know that if you don't get him, at least no one else will, or to go for "second tier" ATGs, and hope everyone else knocks each other out in the early rounds.

The absolute best of the best quicks are already gone or taboo, which means we'll probably see very different bowling attacks to a normal draft. Interesting format, as we'll see a few players we don't normally see drafted.

I started off trying to second guess everyone else, but I think that the easiest policy is just to select the player that you really want, rather than one you think that you might get. And if you miss out then merely try your best again.

Just had a thought - I don't think that it's fair on Jager for us to be able to change our picks mid-round as it compromises his subsequent choices should his first pick become taboo.

Since Jager knows our 'back-up' players he can't then choose that player if other people need to use their 'back-up' player after their first choice also becomes taboo. There would be yet another clash of players. It all seems too messy to me.

Better to e-mail your choice as a one-off and be done will it.

What do you feel Jager? (I hope you understand what I'm getting at)

Ah yeah, I know what you're thinking - for example if you chose Tuffers originally, then switched to RP Singh (who then became blacklisted)... then I wouldn't be able to choose Tuffers because I'd know it was your backup?

Exactly.

Your choice has just been indirectly restricted. You might be a huge fan of Tuffers and hence be frustrated.

Alright at the end of this round, selection switching is no longer permitted. Thanks watson.
