**Official** New Zealand in West Indies

Very accurate first over under hawkeye analysis. I can see Flynn falling to a doosra

Just checking Statsguru - Only two left handers opened for NZ after Richardson's exit in tests - McIntosh and Flynn

This innings from Flynn has reminded me of McIntosh a bit, actually - very shaky at first, but steadily improving thereafter. Still a few nervy moments, though.

Sammy's surely working his way into the Rubbish Review Hall of Shame, IMO
Haha, yes. And he also confidently appealed and considered reviewing for two caught behind shouts that were almost half a metre away from the bat.

Impressed NZ made it without losing a wicket, a great start for them. Narine's bowling looked quite accurate, once the pitch starts to deteriorate I'd imagine he'll get amongst the wickets. Roach and Rampaul with good opening spells too.

Good to see NZ make a solid start. Improved with the bat as the tour has progressed after a fairly ropey start. I like Flynn, apart from wanting to eat the ball he has always come across as a gutsy player and a decent bloke, hope he takes the chance and gets a decent career going. Can't wait to see Wagner, not seen him before but his stats are impressive.

Good going by NZL.

Vettori back to 6 though.

By looking at both teams, you just feel NZL are a genuine batsmen short & the Windies are a genuine bowler short.

Dean Brownlie.

Narine bowling to quick here, needs to slow it up.
Think he's just trying to work out the best pace to bowl on this pitch.

Flynn's just thrown it away with a cut shot that bounced a little more than expected and it just looped to backward point.

FFS Flynn. Trademark.

Reckon it looked a no ball on first glance though. Bowled from very wide on the crease.

Pleased to see Narine get his first wicket. Curtly with some amusing commentary too, get around him. I'll be off for the night though, so goodnight all.

Lively spell this for Roach, that was his fifth so that may be all for now while Narine is continuing to build a little pressure from the other end, more men going in round the bat.

Guptill coming to a bit of a standstill here, in one respect it's good that he doesn't visibly appear to be getting frustrated, but on the other hand he has to look at maneouvering the ball a bit better, especially to Narine.
