so the current sa line-up features 3 batsman who have recorded the highest score in their team's history. aside from teams in their first 10 matches, surely a first?

When it's England's turn, the openers have got to blunt the new ball big time and then after that start knocking off the deficit, simple really.

They have to do the same as what SA have done the last couple of days and make the pitch look ridiculously flat and have the bowlers wondering where the wickets are going to come from, can't give them a sniff with early wickets because if they do their tales will be up.

When was the last time that a wicket in England was accused of being "too flat" for cricket?

Cardiff rings a bell, or was it more just that it was so slow?
