Sorry, but this is why I will never put Kallis in the absolute top category of players. They are in a position where they can't loser the game, and Aggers has just told me he's scored 12 runs off 55 balls. That's simply unacceptable given the state of the game.

There was some quality Indian drumming going on in the Trumper Stand though!

I'm more annoyed that he got to sit in the Trumper despite only paying for O'Reilly tickets tbh; I get suckered into actually playing top dollar every year.

You used to be able to sneak into the stands late in the day from the old GA seats on the concourse under the Bradman Stand but they put the kibosh on it ages ago now. Sad day when they did.

His energy through the crease and run-up hasn't looked quite right for a while now (even when he was taking bizarre amounts of wickets), but this is the worst I've seen it

Yeah well I made him drive as I was blind. So he only had six all day.

I really do want to see Kallis so ballistic, just because on the occasion he does actually bother, you watch and wonder "why the **** doesn't he play like this all the time?"

In the last series these sides played England twice survived with 9 wickets down. If South Africa bowl England out here in the 120 overs they seem set on giving them, then well done to them. If England are 8 or 9 down at stumps tomorrow, I'll wonder why the heck in this day of 20/20 batsmen (and Kallis has been one of the best of those) they couldn't score 220 runs in 40 overs today rather than 60....
