This is when cricket does my head in. Myself and 15,000 others can see blue sky coming, but the umpires can't?! Instead they fanny with the covers for about for a while and we lose 10 minutes of play

FMD. Who cares about the golf? There not actually aloud to host matches in London during the Olympics, so I think avoiding that is their main worry.

Have to say, the groundsman looks to have done the right thing here, by making the pitch so docile on day one, because it's already breaking up. If it was fast and bouncy we may have had a three day test.

Tahir was spinning it loads when he landed it on the pitch, looking forward to see Swann give it a rip.

Steyn looks dangerous when he drops it short but you only have to be a smidgen wide to Broad and he'll have a flay.
