Anyway, I'm home. Anyone want to give me a rundown of the events so far? Seems I've got my wish in any case.

Steyn started off really straight to Cook with 4 men on the leg side. Then Cook drove at the widest and fullest ball Steyn bowled (there was a gap at cover) and played on. Bopara wafted at a short one. Bell got set up beautifully from Kallis with a few away swingers then one that held it's line. And Bresnan just chopped on a rank long hop form Tahir.

SA have bowled much better (Steyn mainly) and England have gifted a few wickets with poor shot selection (probably thanks to the good bowling)

350 looks a good score now if the pitch keeps playing as it is.

Oh and it was both swinging and seaming a lot more than yesterday. Phillander was getting it to jag alarmingly in the first hour.

Yes, because that's what I'm basing it on. :rollyoureyesatthatpeanut:
Well what are you basing it on because the games he's played for England he's batted well and all the times I've watched him over the years he's far from a myth, maybe his average flatters him but he can sure bat.

Every time they have reviewed it's been over the 15.
Yeah, and surely that is something that the 4th umpire should check out first. If the on-field umpire can't judge what 15 seconds is, then the video ump, with all the technology at his disposal, should check it first.

Absolutely chucking it down in North London. Will probably only be a short shower but it's hammering it down. Hopefully it doesn't go down south to the Oval. Could cause a length delay even if it's only 10-20 minutes.
