Lalor is at 5. This is a bi-product of 16 out of 28 contracted players being bowlers. Why were so many bowlers given contracts which now means 2XI will have eight bowlers? Conway, Sandhu and Zampa will be selected having been given contracts.

nathan price played in our last 2nd xier. he might still be in the team next season. abbott will probably bat top 6. aside from that it'll either be the usuals suspects or the guys who finished top 10 on the runs board last season. on that, who the hell is Adam Semple

Yeah I did think that when I saw Tasmania had delisted him. He might stay there and try and get a game through grade cricket anyway; who knows?

They won't pick the Second XI team solely based on the contract list.
Matt Day is captaining Mosman next season. Adam Semple originally from Central Coast is probably about 27 - 28 years old very good grade player. Bowls a bit as well but hasn't been needed all that much the last few seasons(like Price) when Randwick have 9 all - rounders in there main team. Now they have all left though he will bowl a lot more.

Simon Keen was back in Sydney over the winter; it'd be awesome if he stayed. Certainly would have more chance of cracking the NSW team than the Victoria side at the moment which wasn't true when he left in the first place.

Ahh that's awesome. Don't think he'd be too far away from making it on batting alone now and as you say he provides an alternative to Henriques that doesn't involve sticking O'Keefe or Abbott in the top seven.
I don't think he did actually end up getting a crack for Victoria Seconds; that's why he was there though.

Had a good year in Melbourne, but not the sort of year that demanded higher honours. "Solid".
