So would most of us, and there is nothing to complain about when it comes to the timing. I have not noticed any pattern of auctions finishing at specific times.

Oh, I'm not complaining, by any means. I'm just suggesting that's why the prices are so low. I know I'd have bid a lot lot more.

The idea is not to post your final bid 1 minute before the auction finishes. As I have explained before, any time that you get above the 12 hour mark is just a bonus. Post your final honest bid before 12 hours (if you've been online in that time - which you have been, in this case).

It doesn't explain anything. Barrington and Wasim went for fair prices at this stage IMO. 900k-1.3m for an ATG is about right now given people's budgets.

Dravid, Steyn, Warne, Chappell went for 500k-800k, which is low even after considering budgets. (it's not a complain obviously, just an observation)

And it's clear from Barrington and Wasim examples that auction ending time can't be an excuse for it.

In summary, if you (or anyone) want(s) a player badly, post a reasonable bid within 12 hours if you've been online, rather than depending on auction ending time.

There definitely seems to be a lot that all finish at around about the same time, a most inconvenient time for those of us in the UK.
