If this shower are number 1 then god help ODI's. May not be if the weather doesn't intervene over the next 3 games though but how the hell can England be close to being a number 1 one day side?

Aussies have a poor batting line up and a worse bowling attack and that is being generous.

Really no point whatsoever in playing Doherty as he isnt amongst the 5 best bowlers in the squad - play 4 of Lee, McKay, Pattinson, Hilf and Johnson + Watto/Clarke/Dussey and be done with it

why are they making a big deal about morgan going to the review quickly, that shouldn't be part of the third umpire's process anyway, the edge on hot spot obviously takes priority in this case but if nothing showed up on hot spot it's not like they're gonna be like "yeah look ya reviewed it in under a second so we'll give ya the benefit of the doubt"

Totally agree. One of the worst spinners I have ever seen play international cricket. Clarke and Dussey both look far more likely to get wickets. Says it all really when the part timers are outbowling the main spinner all the time.

North was a better spinner too.
