lol......trueBesides which, this is the SSC. If there's a traditionally flatter pitch in the world, I haven't seen it.

Unless Ajmal can do something. But expect Sri Lanka to bat for a long time also, Dilshan may get careless and Paranavitana rarely makes big scores, but the annoying thing for the opposition with Sri Lanka's big 3 is that if they get a flat pitch they play extremely conservatively, knowing that they cant get out unless they play a bad shot.Yeah, has mind-numbing draw all over it, this one.
Divide by 4, times by 2.2/84? where did that happen?
it is 334/1 at the end of 1st day

"Aadil: "Many people do not understand the nature of the one and only Sinhalese Sports Club. This is not merely a batting pitch, but where batting originated from, where runs themselves were created. No man has ever marked his crease at the SSC and left the Test without 'form'. It is the place where batsman's caraeers begin, and where bowlers careers ends. Averages are inflated, both batting and bowling, and records are broken. On SSC, as a rule of thumb, for every run that is scored, divide it by 4, and for every wicket taken, multiply it by 2. This must be done in order to get a more accurate gauge on the situation of the game. For those of you who think that Pakistan are going to 'bowl Sri lanka out twice cheaply', I pity you, for this is impossible"

Sri Lanka have reportedly complained to match referee David Boon about Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal's bowling action during the first Test at Galle.
"If this is not brought under control now, where will it all end? Ajmal is getting away with blue murder and nobody’s taking any action," Sri Lanka's The Nation newspaper quoted an unnamed former Sri Lankan player as saying, while highlighting the displeasure in the Sri Lankan camp.
