**Official** West Indies in England 2012

Which is what made it a good decision.

He cleared his mind of distractions, made sure of what he saw - or more likely here heard, confirmed this and decided.

Got it right as well......
Ok seriously, are you England's version of WW? If so, congratulations, your opinion is every bit as ludicrous.

On what planet should that be given out? Awful umpiring from tony hill, very clearly bullied into it by the appeal. Now Windies have to put that injustice out of their minds, they can still win with the firepower they have left, the time to complain will be after the match.

You cannot be sure the decision was wrong any more than anyone can be sure it was right. Hill has always taken a long time to make his decisions, so to say he was bullied is pure conjecture.

The only thing I dislike about DRS, is the tedious bleating about decisions, which seem's more concerted then against really bad decisions that were obviously wrong.

Bollox got Simmons out, bad play that.

Why?

Because batsmen have a divine right to carry on batting when they might be out?
no, because it's too close to be sure quickly, and it's too boring to take all day to be sure, or too hard, impossible even sometimes to be completely sure.

It's always been BOD to the batsman, that's just the game. Luckily both teams get to bat so if you have the benefit of doubt going the same way all the time, it's fair.

Anyway even carrying on about it is getting tedious. great throw for the runout. simmons, despite benchmark's love, was horrible.

As an experienced umpire of good standard Club cricket I saw exactly what Tony Hill decided on - and can assure you that he was in no way bullied, quite the reverse actually. He handled it very calmly and in his own time - which is good umpiring.

Moreover, looking at the film HE GOT IT RIGHT

And Botham giving a VERY good assessment of it now.....

Very poor reaction to the Gayle decision by the West Indies. They need to calm down and rebuild, you can't just blast away against this England attack.
