You'd hope so........

I'd already made my own decision to ignore him.

When someone's arguments are so daft they are either an idiot or a troll and it's the best way.

The one about England trying to cheat by moving the boundaries back was something else though:laugh:
What!?!?! They move the boundaries back????? IS THERE ANYTHING THAT ENGLAND WILL NOT STOOP TO!!!!!!!!!

What a dreadful suggestion, we English are totally honourable - you'll be suggesting next that we pick players who originate in other Test playing countries

Wouldn't mind him getting a game, surely they'll be resting some of the key pacers for some of these matches, after leaving out Jimmeh and Broad in the last Test.

Hadn't even considered how it might affect the other Surrey players.
The poor people at the Oval have to host the game tomorrow as well. I think the whole place could be forgiven for feeling a bit down during the match.
I understand that Surrey's game due for Wednesday has been postponed.

I recall when Ben Hollioake died the following day a lot of the players went to The Oval to be together - you could tell they were badly shaken - especially Ian Salisbury who, I understand, might actually have shortened his own career he was hit so hard.

I read a comment from another player that it affected the team for the whole season, not just that they didn't have a very good player, it was a big emotional hit.

For it to happen mid season.........

Morning! :D

England bowling first at the Oval, and the Gayle factor applies today. Will Chris Gayle blast the ball to all parts or fall cheaply?

Should be a fairly subdued atmosphere at the Oval given yesterday's tragic news.

uninspiring cricket so far
Actually very good cricket so far.

Anderson bowling superbly, Finn well. Gayle getting the odd one away, Simmons struggling.

May not suit the swish and giggle fans with the memory span of a goldfish but good for real cricket fans.
