Yeah, don't put words in peoples mouths, it's not what mature individuals do, if you aren't a mature individual then pardon me!!, my mistake!!.
You're excused.

In future, please do not make mistakes, it's what toddlers and old people suffering from incontinence do.

And that one over happened to be the last over before the powerplay. And then when the powerplay ended, the seamers were taking wickets. Why would he take them off when they're taking wickets and winning his side the game.
Why didn't he bring him on ealier to mix things up when the pacers were getting belted? and even after Swanns first over WI were still in the lead and looking comfortable, it all went down hill when we lost the fourth wicket before the rain delay.

No but they designed grounds that had small outfields. Clearly a cowardly move to dumbfound players from other nations.
I've heard that the BCCI is being investigated over allegations of match fixing after they ordered the ground staff to cut the outfield's grass 12mm shorter than normal.

Because we had 4 seamers who would all be more effective at that time of the innings. Swann rarely bowls in the powerpaly because of the type of bowler he is, when the first powerplay ended both Bresnan and Broad were beginning their spells. Also usually spinners aren't so effective when it's raining, so err, maybe that could have influenced Cook's decision to hold him back.

WindieWeathers is 24 carat entertainment - disappointing that I discover that and within half an hour he's banned

I'm near certain it was more of an ongoing thing tbh. I know there were some hostilities between WW and some Australian members when they toured there a couple of months ago. I haven't really seen enough of him to be able to fairly comment though, so I'll leave it at that.

Wtf - come on guys nothing in this thread is remotely close to being worth a perma :(
It was his pattern of hostile and inflammatory posting that got him banned. As PEWS stated in the ban announcements thread, he was given numerous warnings and had received prior bans, yet each time he would revert back to his old habits.

Now that he has been banned, we would appreciate the discussion moving away from him and to the cricket itself. :)

Am just gutted about this. Yes WW can be a pain in the arse when the Windies are playing against your team, but he's just pure comedic gold for the neutral observer.

Reckon WW added a lot to the forum as he was one of the few people with in-depth knowledge of cricket in the Caribean

Think he's still young, tbf.
You'd hope so........

I'd already made my own decision to ignore him.

When someone's arguments are so daft they are either an idiot or a troll and it's the best way.

The one about England trying to cheat by moving the boundaries back was something else though:laugh:
