Did spend the Big Bash trying to hit every single ball for six over cow corner, and struggled a bit. Hopefully he can find the middle ground a bit if he does get a game.

ftr i read the whole article as like,, at their best, this current attack is capable of putting pressure and stuff on like the australians did most of the time.

Delighted to see Durham rolled for 102, but saddened that Lanky's batting is so unreliable that I can't be confident we'll even get a first innings lead

You know your team clearly - Lancs 7-2 already.

Onions with a point to prove. A rookie playing his second game was preferred to Harmison for the new ball though.

Great opening burst by Onions, he's been awesome this season so far.

Plenty of low scores around the Counties today, shows what a little bit of cloud cover and humidity does for the bowlers.

I wonder what the record is for the lowest percentage of a side's score for a bloke carrying his bat, because it looks like Paul Horton is staking a claim for it.

More years ago than I care to remember I carried my bat for Wrea Green Juniors for 4* out of 24 all out, so he's on course to beat that one

28 out of 146 in this match is the 'best' I can come up with.

Surely Boyks must have beaten that sometime?
Sir Geoffrey carried his bat seven times for Yorkshire, and 55 out of 183 v Warks at Leeds in 1984 seems to be his least productive effort - in 1971 he actually made 182 out of 320!
