*Official* English Football Season 2011-12

So the rumour is that Dalglish has asked for his [fairly large amount of] compensation be put into the next manager's transfer budget instead. Can't help but feel his ****iness over the past few months has been because of the pressure he's been under - seems a genuinely decent guy, at times.

Although I'm sure GF will tell us otherwise.
He's a ****.

Who does everyone favour in this play off game at Wembley?
Blackpool, and I'm speaking as someone that has, in the past, always admired West Ham. Also I find Holloway's act a little tiring. Yet the manager and owners of the Irons are a blight on the game, IMHO.

Hope Collison gets a contract with a decent club next year, class player.

I'm backing The Irons. Present owners and manager notwithstanding they're a proper football club. All respect to the two great Stanleys, Blackpool really aren't, quite.

Have actually played some decent stuff this season when I've watched them too. Be interesting to see if they keep it up if they go up.

I don't buy into 'proper' football club. They're owned by a pair of dildo makers FFS. No such thing as a proper club IMO, except for me not courting MK Dongs as one.

Crawley not one either but even if you do buy into the real club idea then you have to have a bloody harsh criteria not to consider Blackpool one.

Have produced a stupid amount of England greats over the years (must at least half a dozen in the current squad with Irons connexions too) and generally always played football.

Like I said before the best analogy I can come up with is a mate dating a rank bird. You stand by him and hope he'll be shot in due course.

There'll be a West Ham long after Sullivan and Gold are gone.

Stop being a bitter Red. BTW my brother lives in Stockport, apparently there were quite a lot of celebrations going on Sunday....
Not being bitter, just find it a bit petty for multi billionaires City to call in the police to find out who stole their ball. The kids got a memento of the greatest day of his life, then gets frogmarched back to the stadium to give it back. Wouldn't see someone hitting a winning home run in the World Series have a paddy about someone catching his ball.

Just seems a bit tactless to me. You've got a trophy, let the kid have his. Sell it as a wonderful fan tale, not insist its returned to the club.

Also, Stockport will be rife with celebrations, long running joke that its the home of City.

Yeah you a right but still want this current incarnation to fail, even if it is just this year so they get big of Allardyce,

All good points but Allardyce is the biggest **** ever

The way I figure it, if they lose they're closer to get rid of the ****s, if they go up we could be stuck with them for years, well until Barca make that call to Fat Sam.

I know, that's why I said it:)
