Samuels has decided (wisely) to start playing with his bat against Swann.
I think they'll have been more pleased at lunch than they will at tea. They haven't really gone anywhere this session and have lost a couple of wickets, at 134-4 you'd have to say England are on top. There is a chance Chanderpaul could still be there at the close, even if he is, you cannot imagine he'd have taken the game ahead of England too much if we're picking wickets up at the other end. Could be around 220-8 at the close, something I reckon England will take even if Shiv is still there.WI will be well pleased with this, you'd think. And if Chanders stays there until close of play then they'll have a passable score, especially having been inserted.
Going nowhere though. If they were actually scoring some runs then England would be concerned (not really as it looks like 350+ is par).WI will be well pleased with this, you'd think. Hmm, West Indies have a decent attack and a dreadful batting lineup though. England's attack is better than their batting too. I reckon they'd settle for any score that keeps them in the game and see if their seamers can string a few wickets together tomorrow.Going nowhere though. Fortunately for England I think the ball was going straight for Broad if Swann had missed it.FFS. That's just diabolical between the two best batsman.
Man Prior's throw was bad, would have been quite funny if Swann didn't gather it.
IIRC it's not a new gimmick.is the scoreboard gonna turn blue and white when england bat or something? cause it looks that way based on their bowling scorecard
Looks miles short of full rhythm. At least he's pitching it up, mind.Broad looks well short of where he was before he got injured, a bit like last year when he came back against SL. I reckon the more he bowls the better he well get, same for all the bowlers mind, all a little short of their best.
Always takes him a few games to get back his best, like it does for most bowlers mind.Looks miles short of full rhythm. At least he's pitching it up, mind.
i recall a green one for the neutral pakistan v australia tests in england but every other time i've watched tests from england i only remember seeing blueIIRC it's not a new gimmick.
