I don't mind the Walker suspension but I don't understand the logic of Lovett-Murray getting off while Walker gets 2. The former tackle was worse IMO, more deliberate and caused more injury. Pinned his arms and worked really hard to drive him into the ground head first while the Walker one was one action and more of just a reckless tackle with no consideration of the impact than an actual attempt to hurt the player. Very odd.

RE: Taylor Walker's suspension, I still don't agree with how they determine "contact". For example, Walker has been classified as "high"; I disagree with how they interpret it. The contact he makes is not high, the contact that Harry Taylor makes with the ground is high!
Yeah, I don't mind the Walker tackle if it's a one-on-one situation. Where I find it objectionable, is if a guy is already held and is a vulnerable position...and is then subsequently flung. But, one-on-one, I don't have a problem. It's like with the sliding tackle, I don't have a problem with suspensions when the guy on the receiving end is in a vulnerable spot (like with the Goodes suspension). But, with the North/Sydney incident, the Sydney player was standing up and was not in a vulnerable spot - rightfully, no suspension was imposed. To get consistency, it's all about establishing indicia; one of the main ones has to be vulnerability. Where you get inconsistency, is where you don't have indicia.

Lovett-Murray's tackle was a strange one. He got his legs tangled up in there and lost balance. I don't really think there's a drive in there, Lovett-Murray has started falling to ground and he's taken Priddis with him, which is more or less what they've ruled. But then did he get his legs in there on purpose? And yeah I guess Lovett-Murray could have just released him. I wouldn't've been upset if he got banned. I'm a bit uneasy about it. If there's a couple more instances of legs getting tangled up in tackles they might look at bringing in a slight rule change or something.

i think he has a point with the whole 'the taller they are the more narrow they look".....but he hasn't explained why this messes up goal kicking

Still think, despite their loss on Saturday, the Suns are more than well placed compared to the Giants. The Suns already have their young stars re-signing (most until the end of 2014), and in terms of location, will find it easier to attract players. By contrast, I think with the exit of Sheedy in the medium term, plus the sheer unactriveness of Western Sydney, the Giants will find it much tougher in terms of retention and recruitment.

he probably should have fielded Giles
**** you're right. I would have won, looking at the other guy's team.

Or if Mitch Robinson wasn't a **** with his free kicks against.

Ah well wasn't meant to be.

Ending up 2nd is more shattering than ending up 12th though. Would have been damn happy with 12th. 2nd just makes me sad knowing I was so close to the $500.

wac.

Honestly Kreuzer still scored really well, and I figured he'd do better against a non-McEvoy St Kilda then Giles would against GWS with Zac Smith, but Giles just ripped it up forward in the last quarter which I did not expect to happen.

Will haunt me for the rest of my life though. Brutal.
