Problem with Deccan is that most of the locals are totally useless and Sanga hasnt done anything

Why are you just going on this IPL? Ashwin is clearly your best T20 spinner.

He's been terrible in this IPL. Eleven matches, five wickets! Even Irfan, at medium-pace or a little more, got one wicket more, in a match less. Ashwin is a flat bowler. Mishra is a much better spinner, and a real spinner, though he too is struggling.

And anyone not taking Dhoni as keeper isn't utilising the best options.

Dhoni's stopped being relevant after the Australia tour. Average keeper, can't score runs.

In a related note, India's best T20 all-rounder, Yusuf Pathan, is struggling, too long. KKR is thinking of dropping him from the XI. I feel staying at KKR will do the man no good at all, given their preference for certain other players, marginalising him in the side. In fact, there's a difference of daylight between his figures for Royals and for KKR. He needs to have a talk with Gambhir (who actually showed some faith in him as captain of India) and the management, and move over to another team that can actually use him- maybe DC, maybe Pune, maybe even his old mates at Rajasthan or neighbours Punjab.

Ashwin has gone at a 6.43 an over though. None of Chennai's bowlers have taken many wickets. Overall Ashwin has good figures for the tournament.
