Be funny if United blow the title as a neutral. All the mind games Fergie has tried this season may well backfire and it would be fantastic if Tevez got the winner next week in the derby.

I don't like City buying all and sundry but I must admit it would make a pleasant change for them to win the title.

That should do it, hopefully.

Wolves completely oblivious to the quick free-kick. Can't see what the whinging's about either. Not allowing Citeh to take a quick one would be punishing the sinned-against side.

It is a bloody good job Liverpool have done well in cups this season as the league form is woeful. Be enough to get most managers the sack but as it is Kenny he will get another summer to waste another £100m.

Can't wait for the inevitable Kenny excuses. I wonder whose fault it is today.

Or maybe, we'll get the more gentle "You can't fault the players' efforts out there".

Edit: Whilst conveniently ignoring the fact that they've won 5 home games all season.

Honestly, we've dominated, hit the post twice, and had other chances. I really don't know what is wrong with this team but this many losses has to have some repercussion. I hope at the end of the season, regardless if we win 2 cups, that Kenny steps aside.

Sledger it will be Commoli's fault, he already been the scapegoat for KKK's failings this season. No doubt at the end of the season KKK will do an interview blaming him and saying he signed players he didn't want etc...

Bizarre really, potential cup double yet could finish bottom half if they lose a couple more

Dalglish will get another go next season but I suspect patience will thin out very quickly.

The thing is...do you give him any more money? If his policy is to buy the same kind of players then we're looking at the most expensive few transfer window busts in history. Honestly, Hodgson was woeful with us - he is a good manager for a midtable team not looking to dominate the opposition - but if he had signed some of these guys with the way they performed he would have been lynched. If Rafa had - and he never would have - he'd have gotten a William Wallace-like execution.

I love how on the first Match of the Day of the season Hansen said they'd be pushing the top sides. They're actually closer to the relegation zone than to the Champions League.

Ah yes, there we go:

They are playing well enough so I can't complain about their effort or spirit.

I don't know what match he is talking about. Sure, for the first 70 minutes it was pure domination. After the goal went in there was only a very small spell where we kept pushing and pushing. The last 10 minutes or so the players were walking it. I can't imagine a United side ever doing that. One thing I'll give to Rafa is that the players got used to sweating it out until the final second. We had so many comebacks in his tenure that I felt that 2-0 down with 10 to go we could still win matches. 1-0 down at half-time with Kenny seems like a sure loss.

Well Van Persie is player of the year as expected.

Not quite sure how Walker is young player over Aguero, if he was young enough to be nominated then surely he should have been a certainty?

Ronnie gets a year. No more relegation battles. Get your money on the whites, going up, is right.
