Forum very slow recently

Yeah, got this last night too for the first time. Been OK today.

Yes, this is something I enabled yesterday.

Rather than the site just not load due to high load, this will appear until the load becomes under control.

for whatever reason the site slows down to a crawl/not load right when play in the WI-AUS tests start.

Yes that's right, I've been seeing that problem myself as well and have been investigating with our hosts the past few days.

Apart from that the general performance is seemingly very good.

It would have occurred for a while 40-60 mins ago. Been investigating and discussing with our hosts.

The load was tracked down to a few processes being run from some forum members. I'll be contacting them to try and find out what they were doing so we can help avoid the problem in future.
