Villa if there is any justice but looks like they are little bit too far ahead and their run in is not bad.

Bolton still very much in trouble though, that loss to Fulham was really bad after 3 straight wins.

<3 you Ausage, but if it's you or QPR, it has to be you. Or we can hope for Bolton and/or possibly Villa to bomb.
I appreciate the sentiment mate, wouldn't have expected anything else.

Bolton will be ok I think. Their only really tough game is Spurs, with 5 other games they'd like to be getting something from, including the classic game against a team who will likely have nothing to play for on the final day. All the other relegation contenders will be up against hungry teams (unless Wolves are already relegated which is great for our other rivals Wigan). Throw in a bit of "do it for Muamba" and they'll find the points IMO.

So IMO 2 of QPR, Wigan and Rovers are going down. All 3 teams have 3 games they'll be looking to get points from and desperate relegation teams against top 6 teams can often produce strange results. I'm not holding out much hope. We're garbage and I think Wigan will find a way out again.

Give the ball to Hoilett imo.

I know I've harped on about it all season, but I still don't understand why Maxi doesn't play more. Works hard, links the play, keeps the ball in tight areas and most importantly can finish, which we clearly can't do.

EDIT: #Maxi4Wembley

Didn't see the game last night but that's that for Rovers, surely? At home, against a woefully out-of-form Liverpool team reduced to ten men, who gifted them two penalties and who clearly had an eye (and a half) on the weekend - they had to win that, or at the very, very least they had to not lose it.

Agree with Pothas though, if he world was fair Villa would be one of the three going down. Beyond dire.

Same reason Meireles was sold- because he's not British. If the Henderson-Downing-Carroll signings have taught us anything it's that Dalglish is willing to give up an awful lot of footballing quality in order to keep the team the correct race.

The sale of Arbeloa to finance a move for Glen Johnson was one of the most absurd things I've seen. Ikki to disagree...
Arbeloa was on his last year IIRC and wanted to go - it was his dream to play for Real. It wasn't to finance Johnson. Also, Johnson has been brilliant this year; his and Agger's injuries has coincided with our losses and down-turn in form. Believe it not, he has been very good defensively for the grand majority of games he has played.

I'd agree with the sentiment that Arbeloa was a 7/10 player. But it hides why we wanted an attacking full back. Arbeloa on the defensive end was a 9.5/10 player most of the time - a very consistent and safe player. It was going forward where he was a 5.5/10 player.

When we drew all those games in the runner-up year a lot of people, including Benitez, thought it was because we had a lack of width and he was willing to sacrifice a bit of defensive cover for more goals to stop all the draws we had. Arbeloa wasn't our problem in Benitez's last year; it was a lot of injuries and Alonso leaving.

Balotelli shouldn't be Stuey, Mancini isn't cool enough to be Phil. Tevez as Allan is interesting though.

Haha, no idea which character is which tbh. Thought the film was awful, just found the pic somewhat amusing.
