He's gone away, improved and is now deserving of a recall in my opinion.

Yea the problem with Shah for England was he was kinda mediocre at that level and he doesn't really contribute in the field or with the ball. Part of his mediocrity was that he was a stupidly slow starter. He seems to have improved a lot with that.

Disgracefully bad running between the wickets played its part too. I genuinely think he'd still be in the side if he didn't keep running himself and others out. Watto-like at times.
