Not saying you are wrong, but you are the only one who has lost their opinion of West Coast after their game.

They're being talked about as top 2 since the weekend on most footy shows, and pretty much presumed as definite top 4.

They will win pretty much every game at Subi, so really, they'd have to stuff up away from home to not make top 4.
My opinion hasn't fallen; they've just confirmed what I'm expecting from them. LeCras and Nicoski are big injuries, and I don't see where the improvement comes from. I think they are a midfielder or two short also. Realistically you can't take much out of one game, but they lowered their colours to the Dogs in the first half. Sure they won comfortably in the end; but they did so against a pretty inexperienced/average team who blew a mountain of chances in the third quarter and fell apart under pressure. Maybe it is just a round one thing, but the Eagles weren't too impressive.

I agree.

This isn't meant to be an attack on you SBI, but I can't see the dogs escaping the bottom 5/6 of the ladder. Just don't have the experience or quality in the key positions these days.

If Lake and Cooney stay fit I reckon they can escape. They won't, but if they did that gives them Lake, Cooney, Boyd, Cross, Griffen, Higgins, Picken Gia and Murphy in the experience stakes, and Smith, Dahlhaus, Picken, L. Jones, Wallis and Libba in the young-ish stakes. Obviously there's barely a tall in there, and the one that is while being an awesome mark can't kick for goal. But still there's probably enough class to steer them away from the bottom of the table. They'll be fine once they start playing almost-Essendon-player Tom Campbell tbh

I was actually thinking that WC and WB were a bit alike all through their game. WC's talls of course the difference.

Sadly enough, only two of those games look like tossups. In contrast to the NRL, which has 6.

Totally agree. I actually think at full strength our defence would be very good, because with Williams and Morris you'd never be in a position where you'd have Markovic on Kennedy for a minute. The forward line is a continuing disaster, though, and further proof that Barry Hall just papered over some fairly sizable cracks. It is a fair indictment on our drafting that we've not managed to produce a good key forward since Chris Grant who was a better defender anyway.

Kirk not very good tbh.
"Here's Brett Kirk with an injury update"
"(kick goes on about what port need to do better, no injury update")
"Yeah thanks Kirky"
